Today, the President of Tajikistan signed a number of laws passed by Majlisi Namoyandagon and seconded by Majlisi Milli of Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan.

The Law of the Republic of Tajikistan “On the Founder of Peace and National Unity – Leader of the Nation”, Law of the Republic of Tajikistan “About inspection of activities of business entities”, laws of the Republic of Tajikistan on introduction of amendments and additions to the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan “About combating terrorism”, “About electronic communication”, Criminal Code and Code of Administrative Offences are among them.

With consideration of the will of noble Tajik people and on the basis of proposal of a number of deputies of Majlisi namoyandagon Majlisi Oli of Tajikistan on 9 December 2015 the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan “On the Founder of Peace and National Unity – Leader of the Nation” was passed and then on 18 December 2015 unanimously seconded by Majlisi Milli of Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan.

The Law of the Republic of Tajikistan “On the Founder of Peace and National Unity – Leader of the Nation” has been developed and adopted with the view of strengthening of bases of constitutional structure of the Republic of Tajikistan, state independence and territorial integrity of the Motherland, stability of Tajikistan, strengthening of democracy, ensuring of economic, social and cultural development, protection of historical values of national statehood, providing of worthy living conditions and free development for every human being.

The Law consists of preamble and 16 articles. It determines the political and legal status, competency, immunity, construction of museum, archive, library, safety and social and economic guarantees for the Founder of Peace and National Unity – Leader of the Nation. In particular, as the article 4 of this Law stipulates, for loyal services of the Founder of Peace and National Unity – Leader of the Nation before his Motherland – order of “Leader of the Nation – Emomali Rahmon” and state prize “Leader of the Nation – Emomali Rahmon” are established that are awarded to remarkable personalities for worthy services in state and social activities, contribution to the development of democracy, strengthening of peace and social stability, and friendship among peoples by the President of the Republic of Tajikistan.

Moreover, according to the article 11 of the Law, museum, archive and library of the Founder of Peace and National Unity – Leader of the Nation are established, which are considered a national treasure and state property. Also, this law regulates other aspects of the life and work of the Founder of Peace and National Unity - Leader of the Nation.

The adoption of the Act expresses the reality, an expression of loyalty, respect and reverence to worthy merit of the Head of State. President of Tajikistan, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, is worthy of all titles, awards, status, loyalty and sincerity.

It should be noted that such status is characteristic of developed and civilized societies, it is observed today in America, Europe and the former Soviet republics, in particular in the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The President, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, as the founder of peace and national unity - Leader of the Nation, taking advantage of his other status and position as a true son of his nation and the country, thanks to his unique wisdom and willpower will continue to serve for the sake of further improvement and prosperity of our beloved homeland, strengthening and stability of Tajikistan, decent life of the Tajik people.

Adopted laws are generally aimed at ensuring the State's independence, strength, peace and unity, protection of human rights and freedoms, protection of interests of the state, institutions, organizations, the fight against crime, maintenance of public order, regulation of inspection of business entities, the development of socio-economic activities, the progress of various spheres of life.
