Meeting with the representatives of the industry sectors of the country

The Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon held a meeting with the representatives of the industry sectors. The meeting took place in Kokhi Borbad.

The purpose of the meeting was to analyze the real situation in the national economy, particularly the industrial sectors, the establishment of productive enterprises, creation of new jobs and seeking new ways for the development of the industrial sector, and to facilitate the implementation of the fourth strategic goal, i.e. rapid industrialization of the country.

President Emomali Rahmon delivered a speech about the state of the sector since independence and noted the need to implement sectoral reforms, state and investments programs in the national economy and gave instructions to the government of the country, the Ministry of Industry and Modern Technology, Executive Body of State Authorities of the cities and districts and other relevant structures regarding development of industrial sector, establishment of productive enterprises, import-substituting products, and creating employment opportunities.
