Today, the Founder of Peace and National Unity - Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon and President of the United States of America Joseph Biden exchanged congratulatory telegrams on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries.

Please accept my sincere congratulations on the occasion of a significant date in the history of relations between the Republic of Tajikistan and the United States of America - the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between our countries.

Tajikistan today considers the United States of America, which was one of the first to recognize the independence and sovereignty of our state, as its important partner in the international arena.

Expressing satisfaction with the process of developing and strengthening the relations of friendship and comprehensive cooperation between our countries, which cover various areas of mutual interests, including political, economic, humanitarian, social aspects, and the security sphere, we favorably assess their prospects.

We are ready to continue to take joint measures at various levels in order to consistently develop and deepen the multifaceted relations between the two countries and enrich them with new practical content.
