Today, the Founder of Peace and National Unity - Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, sent a telegram of condolences to the Prime Minister of the Republic of India, Narendra Modi, which reads:

"Your Excellency,

I was deeply grieved to learn about the sad news of the train crash in the state of Odisha, the Republic of India, which resulted in a great number of dead and wounded.

In connection with this tragic incident, I express our sincere condolences and words of support to you, the relatives and friends of the victims, the friendly people of India, and I wish a full recovery to all the injured.”
