On March 29, a meeting of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan was held under the chairmanship of the Founder of Peace and National Unity - Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Head of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, Honorable Emomali Rahmon.

At the meeting, the report of the Minister of Economic Development and Trade Zavki Zavkizoda was heard on the timely preparation of the spheres of economy and social spheres of the republic for regular and effective activity in the autumn and winter of 2024-2025.

The President of the country, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, instructed to approve the action plan for the timely preparation of the economy and social spheres of the republic for regular and effective activity in the autumn and winter period of 2024-2025 and establish the republican headquarters in order to effectively implement the measures.

Due to the negative impact of adverse global processes, including climate change, on the country's economy and social spheres, the Honorable Head of State Emomali Rahmon gave specific assignments to the heads of the responsible bodies to adequately store the necessary materials, save water resources, reduce the technical losses of electricity, collect properly and completely funds for the use of electricity and the promotion of the culture of economy in people's lives.

Ministries and agencies, executive bodies of state power of regions, cities and districts and other enterprises and organizations were obliged to provide detailed information on the implementation of the action plan by the 10th of each month.

Then, in the meeting of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, a number of draft laws of the Republic of Tajikistan, including "On Amendments to the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan "On Payment Services and Payment System", "On Amendments to the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan "On banking activities" and "On Amendments to the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan "On Free Economic Zones" were discussed and submitted to the Majlisi namoyandagon Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan for consideration.

During the government meeting, there were also considered issues related to the Action Plan for 2024-2026, the Strategy for Health Protection of the Population of the Republic of Tajikistan for the period up to 2030, about the Agency for the Protection of Historical and Cultural Heritage under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, and about the size and payment procedure of ecological tourism in specially protected natural areas.

After discussing all the issues of the meeting, the Honorable Head of State Emomali Rahmon gave specific orders to the members of the Government, the leadership of the executive bodies of state power, organizations and enterprises on the implementation of the previous instructions of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, the indicators of the Address of the President of the country to the Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan and the guidance given at the meeting with public figures and religious servants.

Instructions were also given on the expansion of improvement works, planting and spring work, and a well-deserved welcoming of the national holiday – 35th anniversary of state independence of the Republic of Tajikistan.
