Today the President of the country Emomali Rahmon left for an official visit to the Republic of Turkey.

During this visit the Head of Tajik State will meet with the President of Turkey Abdullah Gul, its Prime Minister Recep Tayyip  Erdoğan, Speaker of Turkish Parliament Cemil Çiçek and other top-level representatives of this state. It is scheduled to sign a number of new cooperation documents in various spheres of relations between the two countries as a result of official negotiations.

Upon this visit business forum of the two countries will be held as well. The President will also attend the ceremony of Shabi Arus, which is aimed at the tribute to the memory of Mevlana Jaloliddini Balkhi, and visit the University named after Mevlana
