Meeting with Prime Minister of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan

In the afternoon the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon met with the Prime Minister of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

The Head of State of Tajikistan during his talk stated in particular: "It is satisfactory that contemporary relations between our countries are successfully developing in the atmosphere of trust, confidence, kind intentions and will, consturctivism, and comprehend all main directions of cooperation".

The worthy contribution of Turkish Agency for International Cooperation and Development, its Office in Tajikistan and Joint Economic Commission was highly commended.

After the meeting 2 new cooperation documents have been signed:

Framework Protocol on establishment of twin cities relationship between the Kulob City of Tajikistan and Konya City of Turkey;

Joint Declaration between the Government of Tajikistan and the Government of Turkey on the establishment of Cooperation Council.
