In the afternoon President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon met with President of Kyrgyzstan Almazbek Atambaev.

At the meeting which discussed the issues related to good neighborly relations and mutually beneficial cooperation it was noted with satisfaction that the trade turnover between the two countries in 2012 has reached 80 million USD and increased for 43 million compared to 2011.

Both sides reaffirmed their constructive positions on the fruitful use of water and energy resources and establishment of regional market of electricity power, and stressed that they will act jointly and harmoniously in this direction of relations.
