President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon and the President of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari, who has also arrived in Dushanbe for participation in International Nawruz celebrations and RECCA-V, have opened the Branch Office of the National Bank of Pakistan in Tajikistan, which is situated in Aini Street of the capital.

It was noted that the Branch Office of the National Bank of Pakistan is one of the greatest and most authoritative commercial banks of this country and can serve as a reliable linking bridge for ensuring constant relations between the state structures and entrepreneurs of Tajikistan and Pakistan.

It was also informed that the announced charter capital of the Bank in Tajikistan is 50 million USD and it will be aimed at the development of private business, funding of trade, improvement of population’s employment and realization of new modern types of banking services.
